Toronto striker Jermain Defoe could be set for a surprise return to the Premier League after telling his management that he is unhappy at the MLS side.
Defoe has attracted the interest of Queens Park Rangers as well as his former club West Ham, who are both apparently ready to match the $7.5 million asking price of Toronto.
England international Defoe had started his MLS career off brightly but a change in the coaching has team has apparently upset the former Tottenham striker and he could now be set for a shock return back to England.
The striker is said to favour a move to QPR to link up with his former coach at Spurs, Harry Redknapp.
