  • The 19-year-old rose to fame at Liverpool over the past season, and is now considered among the best young talents from England.

Reports earlier had revealed that the England international could be a transfer target for Real Madrid next summer.

However, Rodgers has now come out and denied the claims insisting that the talented youngster will not be sold in the near future.

"You could link Raheem with every club in the world at the moment," He said. "I sit easy with it. Sterling's still got three years left on his contract, so there's no rush from my side."

Sterling has scored three goals in six games for the Reds this season.
