South African starlet wanted

10 December 2007 - 19:00

Blackburn, Newcastle and Wigan are all considering a January move for South African winger Lance Davids. Currently playing in Sweden for Djurgarden, it is believed a move to the Premiership is likely for the full international.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Davids currently plays for Swedish side Djurgardens IF, he joined that club at the start of the 2006 season from 1860 Munchen, where he stuggled to get his place in the starting line up.

The 22 year old is versatile in his playing positions as he is equally capable at full back as well as on the wing. He has also made 6 appearances for the South African national side.

Blackburn are willing to pay up to £2m for the South African.
