Arsenal are reportedly set to make an improved offer for Atletico Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, according to The Express.

The 20-year-old is considered as a prime target for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger in the next transfer window.

A report from The Express claims that the Gunners will come up with a renewed of around £34m for the talented Frenchman having had an initial £20m offer rejected by the Basque outfit.

Laporte has played eight games for Bilbao this season.
