Chelsea have rejected a bid from Fulham to take back Mark Schwarzer on loan for the season, The Mail reports.

  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao

  • The former Australian international left the Cottagers for the Blues on a free transfer last season, and has since then made only four league appearances until now.

According to The Mail, Blues boss Jose Mourinho has rejected Fulham's offer for the 42-year-old amidst fears of Czech shot-stopper Petr Cech leaving the club in the winter transfer window.

The report adds that the Blues could accept their neighbours offer come the end of the season.

Schwarzer made 218 appearances for Fulham between 2008-2013.
