Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to have sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action during both legs of the Croatian Under-21's side defeat to England in the Euro 2015 playoff this week.

TalkSPORT reports that the club's representatives have been impressed by the player's performances, and will sanction a move for his transfer at the end of the season.

Spurs are currently seventh in the Premier League table.
