Man City are the latest team to have shown some interest in Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are amongst the teams interested.

Khedira's Real deal will expire next summer and there remains some question marks over the player's next destination. Chelsea were favourites to sign Khedira, but now City are in pole position. Manuel Pellegrini, the City coach, is to make an official bid for Khedira in January and is ready to bid as much as 20 million euros to secure a deal for the defensive midfielder.
