Real Madrid are reportedly readying a January offer of around £20m to acquire the signature of French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris from Tottenham Hotspur.
Lloris joined Spurs from Lyon in the summer of 2012, and has since played a major part in the club's transition period.
According to The Express, the European champions are keen on finding a suitable replacement for outbound star Iker Casillas, and consider the French skipper as the number one choice.
It is also understood that manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to provide stiff competition to summer signing Keylor Navas for the number one spot.
Los Blancos are currently 3rd in La Liga.
