The 27-year-old has had an impressive start to the season with the Potters, having kept two clean sheets in the Premier League so far.

The Mirror claims that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is a huge fan of the Bosnian international, and is pondering over a move for his services in the January transfer window in order to provide stiff competition to Simon Mignolet for the number one spot.

The report adds that the Merseysiders will make a bid in the region of £10m to land Begovic's signature in the New Year.
