Boruc to Premiership?

Boruc to Premiership?

12 December 2007 - 20:50

Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc could be set for a move to the Premiership as Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool, Man Utd and Birmingham all consider a move for the Polish international.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • His future has been the topic of much debate over the last few weeks and it now appears as though he has made up his mind; and he has decided that he will be leaving the club as soon as possible.

Boruc is rated as one of the best young keepers in Europe, and Wenger had been tempted to bring him to Arsenal earlier in his career.

Arsenal currently have Manuel Almunia in between the sticks, but it is believed that Wenger is seeking a long-term solution for the goalkeeper role.

Man Utd are also keen on the keeper as van der Sar is believed to be set to retire within a couple of years.

Boruc will command a fee of around £4 million from the Scottish giants.
