Besiktas to offer escape route to Chelsea star

Cech could leave Chelsea next summer

Besiktas to offer escape route to Chelsea star

16 November 2014 - 22:50

Besiktas will make a move for long-serving Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech at the end of the season.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • The Czech international has been forced to sit on the bench for much of the campaign, with manager Jose Mourinho favouring Thibaut Courtois ahead of him in the pecking order.

It is now understood that the 32-year-old will leave the West London outfit next summer, should he continue playing second fiddle to Courtois for the rest of the season.

In addition to this, Besiktas are willing to offer a contract to the talented shot-stopper, a move which could guarantee him regular first-team football.

Cech has made 327 appearances for Chelsea.
