Manchester United are weighing up a move for Burnley striker Danny Ings. The striker, who has recently been in excellent form for his club, is reportedly a target for the Old Trafford side.
Manager Louis van Gaal has long been looking for a backup striker to replace Javier Hernandez, who joined Real Madrid on loan. It is understood that impressive performances by Ings has meant that van Gaal has deployed his chief scout to monitor the young striker in action. United have a reported 50 million pound budget to spend in January and are ready to spend around 12 million of it on Ings.
