Arsenal could turn to Lazio star Cristian Ledesma in the winter transfer window, Fichajes.net reports.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen on signing a midfielder who can play in a deep position on the pitch, following yet another ankle injury to midfielder Jack Wilshere which has ruled him out for three months.
Fichajes.net claims that the North London outfit could offer a six-month contract to the one-time Italy international in order to act as a back-up to the midfield department should the injury crisis worsen.
Alongside Wilshere, club-captain Mikel Arteta has been ruled out for at least two weeks with a calf injury.
