Arsenal are tracking the progress of Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir with a view to an offer for his services in the upcoming transfer window.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is believed to have sent chief scout Giles Grimandi to have a look at some of the best talents from Ligue 1 over the past month.
According to Le 10 Sport, Wenger has received a positive response regarding Fekir and will make a move for the 21-year-old in the New Year at the earliest.
The report adds that Lyon could be forced to sell their star player due to the financial crisis at the club.
Fekir has scored six goals in 12 league games for Lyon this season.
