Arsenal are reportedly readying an offer for Ipswich Town defender Tyrone Mings, according to The Star.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye of the Gunners due to his excellent form at the Tractor Boys since the start of the Championship season.
The report reveals that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on signing up a central defender who could have a long-term future at the club, and considers Mings to have the versatility to fit into that role.
It is understood that the North London outfit will open up with an initial bid of around £8m for his signature.
Mings has made 12 appearances for the Tractor Boys, who currently find themselves second in the Championship.
