Arsenal are reportedly tracking the progress of yet another French defender, according to The Mail.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • AS Monaco defender Layvin Kurzawa played an instrumental role as the Prinicipality outfit finished runners-up to Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 last season.

The Mail reports that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had sent chief scout Gilles Grimandi to keep a close eye on the talented full-back, who is also believed to be on the radar of Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

Monaco are believed to be open to the player's sale for a fee of around £15m in the upcoming transfer window.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League.
