Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has dismissed speculation linking Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli with a return to the San Siro.
The 24-year-old has had a frustrating spell at the Merseyside since his move from AC Milan over the summer, and this lead to rumours associating the Italy international with a swift return to the Serie A.
However, Zanetti has revealed to Sky Sport Italia that the club are unlikely to sign Balotelli in the upcoming transfer window.
"A Balotelli return? We all know Mario is a great player but I think it's difficult because he only just arrived at Liverpool," He said.
