Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly made a formal approach over the availability of defender Hector Bellerin in the winter transfer window.
The Spanish youngster, who joined the Gunners from Barcelona's famous La Masia academy in 2011, has found himself in the thick of things at the club in recent weeks following the unavailability of a number of first-team players.
According to London Evening Standard, Bayer Leverkusen are understood to be keen on signing the talented youngster in the New Year, following an impressive showing for his club against Newcastle United last weekend.
In addition to this, the 19-year-old could be tempted into the switch, as he is unlikely to feature for the Gunners, should the likes of Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers remain fit for the season.
