Liverpool to move for James Milner?

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers wants to sign James Milner from Manchester City. The England international has just six months remaining on his current contract.

The 28-year-old is also wanted by Arsenal, but Liverpool are said to be favourites for the midfielder's coveted signing. Milner has enjoyed regular first team action under Manuel Pellegrini but the Chilean coach has yet to ask the club to open talks with the player. The former Leeds United star has also suggested that he could leave England for a move abroad, with Spanish side Valencia also believed to have shown interest.
