Man City make Wilfried Bony enquiry

31 December 2014 - 06:21

Manchester City have reportedly enquired over the availability of Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony in the upcoming transfer window.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
  • The Ivory Coast international joined the Swans from Vitesse Arnhem in the summer of 2013, and has since played a crucial role in the club's progress.

According to Telegraph, manager Manuel Pellegrini is keen on signing the African striker in the New Year, having seen the likes of Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic all suffer injuries recently.

The report adds that the Citizens must pay a fee of around £30m to tempt the Swans into letting go of their prized asset.

Bony will join the Ivory Coast for the African Cup of Nations in mid-January.
