Leicester City have completed the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer on a free transfer.

The former Australia international joined the Blues on a free from Fulham last season, and played as a back-up to Petr Cech.

However, with the emergence of Thibaut Courtois as the number one shot-stopper, Schwarzer had become the third choice at the West London outfit.

Schwarzer has penned an 18 month contract with the Premier League minnows.

The 42-year-old revealed his delight at signing for the Foxes.
