Liverpool will make a surprise summer move for Man City midfielder James Milner. The 29-year-old will be out of contract at his club on July 1st.
Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers wants to make Milner a replacement for Steven Gerrard, who is set to make a move to the MLS and join LA Galaxy. Milner has yet to have been given a new offer of a contract from manager Manuel Pellegrini and is reportedly unhappy at a lack of progress in discussions.
Milner has also attracted the attention of Manchester United as well as foreign sides Juventus and Inter Milan.
