Liverpool could potentially make a move to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings during the January transfer window.
The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has earlier claimed that the club are unlikely to move for a new striker before the transfer deadline on Monday.
However, The Telegraph claims that the Merseyside giants could swoop for Ings' services in a deal, which would allow the Clarets to keep hold of the former England Under-21 international for the remainder of the season on loan.
Liverpool are currently eighth in the Premier League.
