Hull City coach Steve Bruce has contacted Liverpool regarding the situation of Rickie Lambert. The England international is wanted by several Premier League teams.

Hull City are ready to pay the entire amount of Lambert's Liverpool contract until the end of the season and the former Southampton striker is said to be interested in a move to the Tigers. Numerous teams have contacted Liverpool but Brendan Rodgers has yet to have approved any bid. The return of Daniel Sturridge from injury is said to have been the reason for Lambert's early Anfield exit.
