Randall: bright future for Guns

Randall: bright future for Guns

19 December 2007 - 23:40

Arsene Wenger is bringing through plenty of young English talent according to youngster Mark Randall at Arsenal. The youngster played a sterling part of Arsenal's victory over Blackburn in the Carling Cup.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Wenger’s fringe players have proven their class when given opportunities and the 18-year-old Milton Keynes-born Randall, who featured in last night’s 3-2 win at Blackburn in the Carling Cup quarter-final, is excited with the future prospects.

Randall told Arsenal.com: "It's hard work to get into the first team but if you are good enough you will get a chance.

"There are plenty of young English players coming through like Henri Lansbury, Gavin Hoyte and Rhys Murphy - we just have to keep working hard to get into the first team."
