Atletico Madrid linked with Lewandowski

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to a Spanish source.

The Poland international has struggled to score goals on a regular basis since his Bosman transfer from Borussia Dortmund over the summer.

According to AS, Lewandowski is one of the first names on Atleti's shortlist, with Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani also believed to be under the radar.

The report adds that the club are also having a look at the Premier League trio of Juan Mata, David Silva, and Santi Cazorla as they look to remain competitive in all fronts next season.
