Manchester United could consider the prospect of selling off midfielder Angel di Maria this summer, should he fail to recapture his form during the back-end of the campaign.
The Argentine international joined the Red Devils from Los Blancos last summer for a club-record fee of £59.7m.
However, he has failed to live up to his expectations in recent months, with manager Louis van Gaal being forced to sub him off in many games.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Di Maria's red card against Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-finals has forced the club's hierarchy to rethink on his position in the squad.
Reports elsewhere reveal that Di Maria's sale could pave way for the arrival of Gareth Bale from Real Madrid in the summer.
