Liverpool will consider an offer for Newcastle United defender Daryl Janmaat at the end of the season, according to The Star.

The Netherlands international joined the Magpies from Feyenoord last summer, as a replacement for Mathieu Debuchy, who left Tyneside for a switch to Arsenal.

According to The Star, the Reds are keen on finding a replacement for Glen Johnson, whose existing deal expires at the end of the current campaign.

Janmaat has made 27 league appearances for the Magpies this season.
