Dzeko on the move?

Man City open to Dzeko sale

17 March 2015 - 17:04

Manchester City are open to the prospect of selling off Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko during the summer transfer window.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The talented striker has been in and out of the first-team this season, with manager Manuel Pellegrini opting for Sergio Aguero as his main man upfront.

According to The Star, Pellegrini is keen on offering regular first-team opportunities to Wilfried Bony next season, and this is likely to affect Dzeko's position at the club.

In addition to this, City are willing to accept offers in the region of £20m, in spite of the striker having three years left in his current deal.

Dzeko's teammate Stevan Jovetic is also expected to exit the Etihad in the summer.
