Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul has been linked with a shock move to Manchester United. Krul will only move to Old Trafford should United decide to sell their current selection of goalkeeping talent.

It is understood that Real Madrid and Barcelona are both looking to snap up United keeper David de Gea in the summer and will pay up to 50 million euros to sign the former Atletico Madrid man. Krul has an excellent relationship with former Dutch national team coach Louis van Gaal and is said to be the manager's top preference for a replacement for De Gea should the Spaniard quit England.
