Pogba left Manchester United for Juventus in 2012, and has since then become one of the most-sought midfielders in World football.

According to The Mirror, City are hopeful of landing the Frenchman's signature this summer, having endured a below par Premier League campaign this season.

The report adds that the Citizens will place a player-plus-cash offer for the talented midfielder, with Nasri acting as bait in the deal.

City are fourth in the league standings following their 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace on Monday night.
