Manchester United have made a summer offer for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, The Mail reports.
The Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal will look to revamp his striking options in the summer, with Robin van Persie and loan signing Radamel Falcao likely to be shown the exit door.
According to The Mail, Van Gaal is a huge admirer of the Poland international, and has made a move for the talented striker ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, it will be vey difficult to lure the former Dortmund star from the Bavarian giants given their excellent progress in Europe in recent seasons.
