Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants to sign Christian Benteke. The Belgian striker appears to be United's top transfer priority this summer.
Benteke has three years remaining on his deal at Villa Park but that has not stopped the forward from being linked with a move away. Man Utd are planning a major rebuilding programme over the summer and the signing of a new striker is high on Van Gaal's priority list. Benteke initially struggled to reproduce the form that made him one of the top flight's most feared strikers but has recently been in top gear again. 20
