Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has emerged as a surprise target for Manchester United amidst reports that David de Gea has agreed terms over a summer move to Real Madrid.
United star David de Gea is believed to be closing on a dream transfer to Real Madrid, and manager Louis van Gaal recently suggested that he knows who is capable of replacing their main man.
According to The Telegraph, United are likely to play spoilsport to Arsenal's transfer plans by making a move for Petr Cech this summer.
It is also understood that Cech would be guaranteed a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford, unlike at Arsenal where he would have to fight with David Ospina for the number one role.
