Lehmann to Wolfsburg?

26 December 2007 - 09:39

Arsenal's reserve goalkeeper Jens Lehmann could be set to leave the club after the German keeper revealed his lawyer was in advanced negotiations with another club. Lehmann has fallen behind Manuel Almunia in the pecking order at the Gunners.

  • Everton hold talks to sign Chelsea striker
  • Chelsea braced for Man City approach for midfielder
  • He said: 'I have heard something, but I cannot say anything concrete about it at the moment.'

Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are believed to be leading the chase for the 38-year-old and Lehmann admits there has been contact between the two clubs.

'Somebody from there has called Arsene Wenger,' he revealed.

'My lawyer has also spoken with people, but I cannot say which club they are from.

'Things keep moving, so it is hard to talk about it at the moment. I should know more in a week.'
