Adebayor set for French move?

14 June 2015 - 08:45

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is to quit White Hart Lane and join French club Lille, according to reports from France. The striker is ready to end his time in England after representing some of the Premier League's most respected sides.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Adebayor will be allowed to leave Spurs on a free transfer after a series of issues with his family and since the emergence of England international striker Harry Kane. Adebayor had been considering a retirement from football and a return to his homeland Togo after a series of off field issues but is now willing to move to France to kickstart his career. Adebayor previously played in Ligue 1 for AS Monaco.
