The Montenegrin international has had his fair share of injuries in recent seasons, and this has hindered his chances of featuring in the first-team.

Reports in Italy claim that City boss Manuel Pellegrini is ready to offload the talented hitman this summer, with Roberto Mancini's side understood to have made a formal approach for the former Fiorentina star.

Jovetic joined City from Fiorentina in the summer of 2013.
