Everton are hoping to secure the services of Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann this summer.

The former Blackburn man has been long linked with a switch to the Toffees.

According to The Star, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen on having the talented centre-back at Goodison Park this summer, and will offer a transfer fee of around £8m to snap up the player's signature.

Dann made 37 appearances for the Eagles in all competitions last season.
