Chelsea target Miranda is reportedly close to sealing a summer switch to Serie A giants Inter Milan.

The Brazilian international is undergoing a medical at San Siro ahead of his proposed switch to the club.

The talented defender was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last winter, with Jose Mourinho seeking a long-term replacement for John Terry.

However, Miranda has opted to seal a switch to the Nerazzurri, whose manager Roberto Mancini is keen on turning the club's fortunes in the upcoming campaign.
