Barusso to Fulham, Newcastle

Barusso to Fulham, Newcastle

30 December 2007 - 00:34

Ahmed Barusso could be set for a move to the Premiership as Fulham and Newcastle both consider a move for the Ghanaian central midfielder. Since joining Rimini, the 23 year old's chances have proved somewhat limited.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • The Ghanese player's agent, Mauro Cevoli, talked about the player's situation to Teleradiostereo: "After the Christmas break, I will meet with Roma to discuss the future of Barusso.

"He's happy about his experience with the Giallorossi because he has the possibility to train with great champions."

On a possible move to another club, Cevoli said: "If the club should decide to let him go to have more playing time, we'd prefer a Serie A team. If we could turn back time, we'd certainly make the same choices again."

While at Rimini, Barusso made a name for himself and it appears that both Fulham and Newcastle are preparing loan transfer offers to bring in the Ghanaian international.
