Juventus rule out Vidal, Pogba sale

Juve will not offload star pairing this summer

Juventus rule out Vidal, Pogba sale

06 July 2015 - 18:07

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has iterated that the club will not entertain offers for midfield duo Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal during the summer transfer window.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • The midfield pairing have been constantly linked with moves to the Premier League in recent weeks.

However, Marotta has dismissed the speculation insisting that they will not offload their prized assets in the summer.

"We moved before other clubs for our main objectives. The transfer market [for us] closes here today. The squad is competitive, there are two players for every position, so we think it's competitive." he told reporters.

"The Vidal talk is just rumours, we have a good relationship with Real [Madrid, linked with the player], but these rumours are utopian.

"As for Pogba, I've already spent so much time talking about this - Juventus will not sell the best players in our squad."

Juventus have been crowned Italian champions for the past four seasons.
