The Chilean international made his way to Inter Milan last season, and has since then impressed for the Nerazzurri.

According to La Tercera, the Reds were impressed with the way the midfielder plyed himself during Chile's Copa America campaign, where they ran out victors in a penalty shoot-out to Argentina in the final.

It is added that Roberto Mancini's side could be open to Medel's sale in the summer, with the club having recently brought in Geoffrey Kondogbia from AS Monaco.
