The talented midfielder has struggled with a series of injuries over the past few seasons, and this has slowed down his progress.

However, The Sun now cites that Wilshere wants talks with manager Arsene Wenger, amidst concerns over playing time at the North London giants.

It is added that the 23-year-old is worried that he could struggle to make his way in to the starting line-up, with the likes of Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil ahead of him in the pecking order.
