Ajax approach for Wojciech Szczesny

Ajax have enquired on the possibility of signing Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny during the summer transfer window. It is understood that the Eredivisie giants are looking to sign a replacement for Jasper Cillessen, who is closing on a move to Manchester United.

Szczesny is likely to be behind the likes of Petr Cech and David Ospina in the pecking order next season, and The Mail cites that the 25-year-old may seek a summer move away from the Emirates.

Should Szczesny make way this summer. the Gunners are likely to rely on Ospina to provide cover to Cech for the upcoming season.

Ajax have already signed up Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo on loan this summer.
