Manchester United have begun talks with free agent Sergio Romero over a three-year contract , according to reports.
The Argentine goalkeeper is a out-of-contract following his release from Sampdoria earlier this summer.
United have been linked with a long list of goalkeepers this summer, as questions mark linger over the futures of Victor Valdes and David de Gea with the new season closing in.
The Mail claims that United and Romero have entered talks over the possibility of a summer switch.
Romero has previously plyed his trade under boss Louis van Gaal at AZ Alkmaar.
