Manchester United are planning a club-record bid to bring star forward Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.
The Portugal international spent six glorious years with the Red Devils before sealing a dream move to Real Madrid in 2009.
According to Manchester Evening News, United boss Louis van Gaal is working on a deal to bring the fan favourite back to Old Trafford in the current transfer window.
Ronaldo, who is contracted at Real until 2018, has notched a remarkable tally of 313 goals in just 300 games for his club.
