Manchester United look unlikely to acquire the services of one of their top targets in the summer transfer window, according to a Spanish source.
Spain international Sergio Ramos has recently expressed his desire to join the Old Trafford outfit, following interest from manager Louis van Gaal.
However, the talented central defender has now sorted out his differences with Real Madrid, and Marca cites that the 29-year-old is on the brink of signing a new contract at the Bernabeu which could diminish any chances of him making his way to the Mancunian giants this summer
It is thought that Ramos was convinced to stay at Real having been rewarded the captain's armband for the new season.
