Poland international Wojciech Szczesny has sealed his season-long loan move to Roma from Arsenal.

The talented shot-stopper was expected to struggled for game-time at the Emirates following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea.

Szczesny will now link up with the Italian giants on loan for the season, and is expected to compete with Morgan De Sanctis for the number one spot at the Capital outfit.

The 25-year-old made just 17 league appearances for the Gunners last term, as he lost his place to David Ospina in the second half of last season.
