Liverpool are desperate to get their hands on Real Madrid's Russian winger Denis Cheryshev, The Telegraph reports.
The Russian international spent last season on loan at Villareal, having struggled to cement his place in the first-team at the Bernabeu.
However, newly appointed Real manager Rafael Benitez has hinted that the 24-year-old could play a part for the club in the upcoming season.
According to The Telegraph, the Reds are keen on signing up a new winger following the departure of Raheem Sterling to Manchester City.
It is added that manager Brendan Rodgers has identified Cheryshev as the perfect for the wide role, and the club are expected to make a £14.9m bid for the player's services.
Cheryshev scored seven goals in 40 games for Villareal last term.
