The Bosnian international has struggled to find regular first-team action at the Etihad, since the arrival of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City last winter.

However, his chances have now been dented more following the summer signing of Raheem Sterling.

According to The Times, the former Wolfsburg man has already agreed terms over a contract, and City are expected to agree a fee in the region of &pound15m for his transfer to the Capital outfit.
